You succeeded to upload in the forum again. Great!

Again and very very good recording of this great sonata who has been somewhat overshadowed by the more famous "The Tempest". The Piano Sonata no.19 was composed in 1802 and published as the last of his three Op.31 piano sonatas. Beethoven did not dedicate any of these piano sonatas to anyone which is very unusal.

The form of the sonata is unusual because it does not have a slow movement, which is instead replaced with a scherzo and followed by a minuet, before launching into the spirited finale. A playful jocularity is maintained throughout the piece, earning it the occasional nickname of The Hunt.

The recordings are up on the site.
