Wonderfully playing of this very difficult masterpiece. It is very technical demanding but also musical demanding. It is one of Beethoven's most mysterious work and difficult to understand with its very difficult movements. Especially the second is a matter of much discussions and different opinions. As a total, I think it is one of Beethoven's most beautiful but yet powerful works.

You do an incredible job on the piano and the orchestra is very good too, making the total impression equal to any famous CD out in the stores!

    Congratulations!

Thanks so much to all of you for your nice words. I adore this Piano Concerto, and I agree it's very hard both technically and musically. But it is like a wonderful journey into human soul, and it makes (in my opinion) a fine anticipation of the Ninth Symphony. Well, of course there is a kind of pre-quotation of the Hymn To The Joy theme in the third movement (and this Concerto was premiered together with the Symphony's direct "father", the Choral Fantasy); but in any case, the "philosophical" structure is the same: drama and resignation in Second Movement, and "resurrection" in the third.
    Wow... what a piece....
    :)
    Warm hugs to everybody!
