I do not remember everything I've written several days ago.....

I only have to worry about this piece if I make it passed the first round, which probably won't happen anyway so I should be okay. I'm still practicing my fingers off, though...

Just in case you pass the second round too, you could consider preparing this for the final round: http://youtu.be/xyPAXzkxCf8

Unfortunately there don't seem to be any new ones right now... Will post as soon as I find one :p

Should be a piece of cake after Rach/Mendelssohn. Better get started....

What I was going to suggest was to throw in a little devilish Ravel.
Could VL possibly be playing this as an encore to the Mend-Rach, not having had time to change out of her sylph costume?

I usually like her, but yes that dress is hideous. Oh well, if I had half her talent, I wouldn't care what I wore, either....

It's probably slower than you think. The singer often has a syllable for each semiquaver. Try speaking the words in time: it will give you a good feel for how relaxed those bell sounds should be.

Quite so, and the fact that a metronome marking (of 84) is supplied also helps to take some of the guesswork out of interpreting "Non troppo allegro".
