    So how old would he be? I've been realizing something: either one can play bach or cannot. Just like Rachmaninov and Brahms, Bach is just too technically difficult that it weeds out the novices.

    Just a thought.

    he will be 322 years old. Bach music can be difficult....and deceiving..

    what also is interesting is that after 322 years, we still have Bach's music. Aren't there original manuscripts still in existance? That in itself is amazing.

    Oh bollocks... There is suitable Bach music for everyone. He is your best friend and tutor whether you are an absolute beginner or a top virtuoso. If you can't play even the simplest pieces, do not blame that on Bach.

    Heh... such a good old knee-jerk reaction always make me feel better :wink:
