Thank you! We are glad you feel that way.

I, and other regular members, can get you what you want. But before we give you the link, please tell us a little bit about yourself. Sorry - don't mean to be a tease, but this is a sneaky little way of learning about someone and we hope you will stick around and one day become a contributor on our site.

Also, we are in a transition period of linking sheet music requests to IMSLP, so we will not be adding any more sheet music to our site. (don't bother looking on IMSLP for that Villa-Lobos piece. I already did and it's not there)

Well, since you also play flute, then you are okay! (I do too)

If you give me your email address, I will send you that Villa-Lobos music.

A warm welcome from me too. Just for curiosity's sake, where did you study in Italy?

Welcome to PS, and do record some/more Villa-Lobos ! A fascinating composer.
I have attached the score of the Bachianas 4 for you. Not his best piano output IMO, but well worth hearing and playing. Good luck working on it.

I truly do love Villa-Lobos music also, and we've been getting a lot of Villa-Lobos music here in Brazil due to the recent 50th anniversary of his death (november 17).

About the Bachianas, I've said here before that it's a very interesting set. Every piece has two titles, one Brazilian and one Bachian. For example, the well-known "Trenzinho Caipira" ("Countryside Train" received the Bachian denomination "Toccatta"). The very lively "Dansa" in this Bachiana #4 received the title "Miudinho", which is a typical Brazilian Dance.

Since Brazil adopts the 70-year after the death of the composer rule, so, here and in all countries adopting this rule his work is still under copyright.

BTW, I'm from Salvador, lixo1! Where are you???

    :)

    Marcelo.
