Excellent! I only wish that you would re-record it with better sound.

You play this with great drama and aplomb. Liszt's rhetoric way with Bach's organ works is not my cup of tea, but it is undoubtedly effective and you know just how to make the most of it. Shame about the distant and swimmy sound, your playing deserves better. Personally I think the sound quality is too low for the site, but I will leave that decision to Robert.

    Thank you for the comments!

I agree that a sound quality isn't that of a studio recording level but having found even worse sound quality recordings on this site, I'm slightly surprised that it could be considered as a significant problem. After all, recording of my Scriabin Sonata is from the same concert, recorded with the same equipment, and it is up on the site for over a year.

    With best regards,
    Bruno

The sound isn't that bad. I've heard worse on this site as well. I can't comment on the playing, but all I can say is that it sounds confident and well practiced.

Yes, there are far worse on the site, which personally I would never have put up there. Indeed if that Scriabin sonata is up, then there is no good reason not to put this up as well. I do think however, that we should aim for having good sound quality recordings on the site. But in a recital, you just may not have that luxury. So be it....

I'm very happy about this. this is one of my favourite bach pieces, and found this recording very very good, particularly how you played the diferent voices in the right hand in bars 36-41 and 55-56 in the fugue (halfway in page 9 in the pdf provided).
    bye, mr duffy

Not sure why I did not listen to this until now. Excellent played, I truly enjoyed it and so well played that it compensates for the clipping problems in the sound quality and I have put it up on the site!

This really is a great performance - very polished and dignified without sounding over-rehearsed or rushed. Bravo!
