Oh dear, more paraphrases My memory was terrible within the first couple of pages and there was a little bit of on the spot rearrangement, hence the work in progress tag. Plus I've only just learnt it so there are a few untidinesses which shouldn't be there. The piano's really lovely so I'd rather post it now as I won't get to play this on such a nice instrument in the near future. Anyway, hopefully it's entertaining.. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2EwbIFiC4UM Chris, you will be delighted to hear that my teacher pronounced it to be "third-level garbage"
I really like seeing videos of our members....new videos. Then I can see how everyone is aging.... And wow, Andrew! I don't know the music, but your playing here is very impressive, as usual!!
Hello Andrew! Really enjoyed watching this video. I was not familiar with Alfred Jaell at all before this, but I have since looked him up on Wikipedia and IMSLP. Thank you for the warm introduction! I enjoy listening and playing all manner of transcriptions and paraphrases, so watching your performance was a real delight.
Oh dear ! Is that even worse than the 2nd rate crap you usually post ? Don't you ever want to play something serious ? But wait, we had this discussion before. Didn't work
Monica and David, thanks Chris, what can I say? I have actually been looking at some "serious" music (Vallee d'Obermann for a start) but a combination of events and inertia have taken over.
