It isn't personal enough for my tastes, or lets say characteristic and unique.Don't even tell me your own personal emotions are that picturesque, for they are much more likely to be dense. You use theme, tone, and harmony rather admirably, but you need your own rhythmic device. For god's sake make it so your progressions aren't symmetric on purpose. I know it takes a lot of confidence to do so, but beyond that barrier lies excellence. In saying this i am not stating that you are a terrible composer, but i thought it would be a useful set of directions. Just please don't take this as if i am telling you to turn your composition style into Debussy preludes or Profokeiv, that material is just plain tough to get into. Performing is hard, but composing is a harder, heavily different, often less financially rewarding business. Best of luck my friend!

Edit: Also i thought it sounded rather nice, and the orchestration peaked my interest, thank you for the submission.

 

Hmm..
I just listened to the "Alegre". The synthesizer-strings are a bit annoying, but the piano part sounds quite good; although a bit monotonous after a while, if you have to repeat something, always change, make a variation, something different, even if its just a slightly different left hand; that´s what I would do.
