Ok. I am 100% Chinese, but from differnt part of world not from China. When I was a kids4/5 years old. I already can hear my neigbours playing the piano or even across the road EVERY morning just before the school time and night time.

After school, I used to do 3-4 days a week from 4.30 to 6 pm . One hour self practiced technical work and 1/2 hour reportore. The qulaity is not as high as in western world. But the mentallity are there. Piano playing is a clutrual in Taiwan?China so as some kind of sociel status. Everyone parents is comparing there kids with others(which I think its wrong). we used to work HARD untill calluis grow out on top of the finger tip....(not for me at least).

Therefroe, in Australia, we take one lession per week that all we can afford. Therefore, I suppose,

Work = force X distance = time spend and finger on the keys = better result.

Ps, I suppose, Russian do the same too.

Tell me if you have a differnt view.
