Hi Didier,
Thank you for the link. The film looks interesting, but alas, I would have to view the English version to totally understand what is being said.

Hi Monica,

I did not find the English version although it was produced by Mark Kidel, a British film-maker.
In the CV from the above link, there may be an explanation for this:
Quote:
A significant proportion of Mark’s films are produced in France and not broadcast in the UK
.
Indeed it was broadcast on the European, actually mostly French-German, TV channel ARTE two weeks ago. There should be a German version. Would it be more suitable to you ?

Note that the dialogues between Alfred Brendel and Kit Armstrong are in English and you may disregard the French subtitles. :D

Kit Armstrong is somebody special:
At the age of 9, Armstrong became a full-time undergraduate student at Utah State University studying biology, physics, mathematics as well as music (2001 – 2002). In 2003, Armstrong enrolled at the Curtis Institute of Music studying piano with Eleanor Sokoloff and Claude Frank, while simultaneously taking courses in chemistry and mathematics at the University of Pennsylvania.

At least just look and listen from 16:30: it's magical and the language is international.

Hello again, Didier.
Yes, I just listened to Brendel's Liszt - it was beautiful! I really needed that after a very stressful day -- thank you! :)
