Piano Companion is a flexible chord/scale dictionary with user libraries and reverse mode. Piano Companion allows you to find a chord or scale by its name. If you don't remember what's the name of a chord/scale, it helps you to find it by keys. Piano Companion shows chord/scale notes, degrees, fingering for both hands in major and minor scales. You can listen how a scale or chord sounds. You can see the list of compatible chords in the selected scale. Piano Companion has integrated sequencer (Chord Progression) which allows you to listen how chords sound with each other.

Key features:
✓ 1500+ piano chords, up to 6th inversions
✓ 500+ scales
✓ 12 root keys
✓ Chord Progression (chord sequencer for Android only)

Pointless. I carry this all in my head, as many here do. Just LEARN! Anybody who wants some guidance on how to begin learning basic theory, just PM me and I'll get you started. It starts with scales -- all 60 of them + 60 unique chromatic scales spellings (differrent spellings for ascending and descending versions of 15 major and 15 natural (or pure) minor), then comes intervals ...

Wow, user libraries, we really need that

This site is not for plugging your warez, please take your business elsewhere. This is a forum of piano lovers, all of whom know how to play a chord or scale, and have no need of your silly app. To those who want to learn to play the piano, we recommend taking lessons.

In order to prevent these types from profiting on our site, we need to delete links to whatever it is they are selling-- which I just did.

Probably best to kick them off straight away including their posts. They never reply anyway.

Well maybe we ought to just do away with this forum and all buy this damned app; clearly it can play the piano...

And along with that, I'll say, good riddance!

Don't be snotty. I think we should all go learn all the 1500 chords and 500 scales. That will make us play much better. We don't need to buy the darn app for that however, we've got Eddy :P

Just noticed that this guy posted here in may last year with the same link, saying it was free. Nobody responded then. I've removed him now.

I note with a wry smile that its list of features doesn't include anything to help with rhythms.
