Hi all, as regular forum members will doubtless be aware, I'm rather partial to transcriptions and paraphrases. Anyway, I have just finished with recording and editing a studio CD, next step is sending it to a commercial replicator, and I hope to have it available for online distribution by the end of the year.

Any regular member who is interested in a copy, message me for a free digital download (192kbps).

I've not really done it to sell lots of CDs, but it would be nice! I'm having 500 printed; some to give away and if I sell half of the rest (for example, at future recitals), I'll be delighted. I need to sell over half of them just to cover my costs, but money really wasn't the motivating factor.

The cover image is a painting of the death scene from Tristan und Isolde.

No shit :)
That looks like a very fine job, I like the understated design of the cover.

I had a little chuckle at that.

Thanks, I was originally going to have an opera house interior, but I couldn't find an image I particularly liked. I like the painting a lot.

@ Andrew

You don't live in the Netherlands do you?

I was googled your name looking for the CD and all I found was this site, curiously of a pianist by your name  :

No, that's someone completely different. The CD is currently in the hands of the printers/replicator; nothing will happen online until they've finished. I'll be getting a massive parcel delivery of 500 discs at some point!
