Submit your recordings, biographies or articles using the file attachment option as in this example. The recordings should be in
mp3-format with at least 128 kbps and no more than 192 kbps. Read more about the requirements on recordings at:
http://pianosociety.com/cms/index.php?section=15Many of our pianists use handy MP3-recorders which are very easy to operate. They record directly to MP3-format (optional to WAV) then you copy/move the recording to the computer using USB and upload it to this forum in a separate topic. Several recordings can be put into a single post with the maximum limit of 250 MB in total.

If you are looking for an wav/mp3 editing software, one example I use is
Audacity which can be downloaded from:
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/download/You need the
LAME library to be able to extract a file in mp3-format. The lame_enc.dll should be copied to the first level of the Audacity directory at your installation and can be downloaded from:
http://spaghetticode.org/lame/If you want to install extra effects, I can highly recommend the GVerb as reverb (which is probably the only effect you need, perhaps also an Equalizer). But first, you need to install the
VST enabler from:
http://www.audacityteam.org/vst/Information on how to download the
GVerb effect and use it can be found here:
