We are encouraging you - to pick a less devilish piece. I'm not saying you can't play it, just that I think it's too risky for a competition. Keep in mind that it is an amateur competition, and it's supposed to be fun. This one's not only extremely difficult (I've cut my teeth on it too in the past) but also very vulnerable, and there is no repose, no time to think. All the hard work could be easily voided by a couple of slips or a memory lapse. But ok, if you want to live dangeously, go for it !

I do not remember everything I've written several days ago.....

I only have to worry about this piece if I make it passed the first round, which probably won't happen anyway so I should be okay. I'm still practicing my fingers off, though...

I usually like her, but yes that dress is hideous. Oh well, if I had half her talent, I wouldn't care what I wore, either....

It's probably slower than you think. The singer often has a syllable for each semiquaver. Try speaking the words in time: it will give you a good feel for how relaxed those bell sounds should be.

Quite so, and the fact that a metronome marking (of 84) is supplied also helps to take some of the guesswork out of interpreting "Non troppo allegro".
