Very good playing of this chorale. It feels to me as you found the right mode for the music and handles the volume and settings of the organ very good. I'm impressed!

Thanks for continued praise on my organ playing ! I think you should be trying your hand at it too, one day.
This one is short, uncomplicated, and manualiter. Yet it is deceptive, there is a lot going on as always with Bach. Seems a good exercise
to develop articulation and precision.

I listened to your recording of this organ chorale. I was not able to listen to the earlier lugubrious recording, so I cannot compare it. But you seem to get through this piece without a problem. When you say the piece is manualiter does that mean you only play the keyboard and not the pedal board? I thought I heard the bigger pipes, but can only guess as this is a audio recording and not a video recording.

Looking forward to more chorales (re-recordings or otherwise)

Yes indeed. The great thing is that you seldom notice the absence of pedal, so inventive and multi-layered are these manualiter chorales. They're often extra difficult because of that - though not this one.

No 16ft pipes here (because I have those only in the pedal). But you would not guess that from a video recording - they don't move around much
