Hi everybody!

I need to buy (urgently) a recording equipment, aiming for about 400-600 Euros (more or less). I know it's quite an inflexible budget, but maybe it's quite well just for now.

While browsing the Internet I encountered some interesting goods that could suite me. Some of them are the Kawai PR-1. It seems quite easy to operate, and with rather good quality, and by opening this link I'm giving you, you'll be able to find recorded samples using this apparatus.
I mean i wouldn't expect a perfect quality, but i would appreciate a rather good quality, for example like those of the audio examples given at the Kawai's website.

We have several topics and threads on our forums regarding recording equipment. But to get you started - several of us who record with more simple setups use the Edirol, or the Zoom digital recorders. These recorders have built-in mics and are easy to use. If I remember correctly, I paid about $400 US dollars for my Edirol.

Hi Stephen, no need to shout. Whenever I see PLEASE HELP! URGENT! and other text in all-caps, I think of spammers. This is Not Done.
I think you can safely buy any of the portable mp3-recorders from around $300 or more and deliver good quality results without any hassle. Edirol and Zoom are the most popular here but there are several other options which are likely just as good.

No people here use this AFAIK.
It seems an interesting option, with some nice and unusual possibilities.
Still, I'd prefer a portable recorder (Edirol, Zoom, Microtrack, ...) if only because sometimes you'll want to record somewhere else.
