I stumbled upon this hilarious site.

http://www.flamewarriors.com/index.htm

Mandatory reading for everybody who hangs around in a forum. I could readily identify each and every person here, including myself, with a number of these personages. A nice game to see where you fit in, or where you think others do

Very funny stuff. Of course, I'm not any of those warriors! Didn't see your warrior name either which would be "Indifferent". Did see some familiar faces, though. Could name a few, but then I may be attacked. But actually, that would be sort of fun - like a game.

I did spot you a couple of times though. As well as others.

Ah, divulging bits and pieces from private conversations. That's the tactic of ..... can't remember which one it was. Never mind.

Yeah would be fun, but dangerous too. Some would take it badly, I know.

That "Bliss Ninny" one is so funny. And who does "Garble" remind you of? (don't say it, just think it)

Yes. The 'Coffee Klatch' reminded me of someone too. No names mentioned of course.

Sheesh, that could be any Australian...

That's not the same person I'm thinking of, but he (the Australian) fits the mold too.

Uh-oh

I must be Bliss Ninny and Coffee Klatch combo. I'll have to check my previous postings -- am pretty sure they're peppered with several positive "Thanks for sharing" types of phrases.

Oh well, could be worse, I guess. :D

This is the bloody best laugh I've had for some time! I spotted numerous odious members of other fora I frequent in there.

Someone pointed me to this fantastic site a couple of years ago, and I was thinking about it again a few days ago because Godzilla has turned up on another forum that I frequent.
Image
It was a peaceful and productive forum; lively, congenial and a bounteous source of useful information. Then one day, completely without warning, Godzilla arose from the depths and blew his scalding breath on everything in his path. A phalanx of Warriors mobilized to attack the monster, only to be crushed like so many toy tanks under Godzilla's mighty feet. Godzilla soon reduced the forum to searing and consuming flames. Just as abruptly, he rumbled back beneath the waves, leaving all to tremble in fear of his return. Net life would never be the same.

You only call me that because I don't have recording equipment!

I think I post more in other forums than in General! lol...I go to one forum (the Darwin Awards Forum, DAF) where the flame warriors are a rotating banner for the forum. If there's any forum where I'm inclined to stay away from the technical forums, it's that one (it is a philosophy forum, and most of the members take themselves rather too seriously), but they gave me different names over there.

Haha yes, and also part-time Big Dog, Diplomat, and Kung-Fu Master.
I won't indulge in typecasting other members so as not to upset anyone
