Yes, you are absolutely right with this. I´m not able to play the Bourée faster and stay accurately. I would have to practise more on it. So, I decided to play it properly and with nice dynamical differenciations in a slower tempo.



Well, it´s never too late for something, if it is a very deep wish of yourself, but you are right, it would take you probably some years to play it properly. (But may be a talent like you with good musical pre-knowledge could play well in two or three years under the condition, that you take weekly lessons. But it would take you some time from to practise piano, and I don´t suppose, that this is, what you want.)

You know, Andreas - on my run this afternoon, I was listening to my idop and heard a guitar piece that made me think of you. It's actually a piece I play in my car whenever I am going on a road trip. Perfect for when the weather is nice and I open up the the roof and the the windows, put on the cruise control, and crank up the radio. Here it is in case you want a something different. It's by an American band called the Doobie Brothers - one of my favorites.

Wow, that sounds really american. I really can imagine you sitting in a big american road cruiser with open cape hood driving a long hunderts of miles through a prairie, nothing than dust and sand, some cacti and bushes, rocks and mountains in background while listening to this music. That must be a special feeling, I think.

Thank you very much for posting this file. I like such music between for entertaining, and especially while driving car it´s nice to hear such music, because the noise of the motor is mostly too loud for to listen to classical music.

So, I burn it on a CD and switch it on when I drive with my old beetle-Volkswagen with open cape hood through the Odenwald, (with open hood only, if it´s not raining exceptionally).
(I have an old VW beetle, 1303 Cabriolet, built in 1976.)

My father would love you! We had VW Beetles all the time when I was growing up. I remember going on family vacations in the summertime; my mom and dad in the front seats, and my sister, brother and I in the back seats. Can you imagine that? There is not that much room back there! And I was the smallest so always had to sit in the middle on the hump. We drove all over the place too. Come to think of it, I'm not sure we even had air-conditioning.

How spoiled my own kids are because we drive much larger cars when we go on vacations, and most of the time we don't even drive, but fly and then rent a big luxury car at the airport.


I'm glad you liked that music. I have a lot of great 'traveling' tunes if you want any more. I listen to them when I jog too. Helps to keep me going....

We had the beetles in the USA. My dad was big fan of them. I don’t know what models we had, but I do remember the white one we had. There were these giant flower decals that my sister placed all over the car. Decals are things that you pull the paper off the back and then the decal is sticky and can be stuck (applied) anywhere. The flower decals we had were approximately 10 inches in diameter, multi colored, and we had dozens of them on the car. Talk about a hippie car! Still can’t believe my parents went for that. I didn’t think they even knew of the band, The Grateful Dead.



You’re right – it probably is illegal. I’m going to take off that attachment up above right now. The other pieces I have are not really western-music, but more just kind of hard-driving, kick-ass stuff that I like. I have no problem sending mp3’s by email. Who’s going to know, right? I have an idea about a few pieces that you may like or may just make you smile. I’m thinking Elvis, Pfish, Korn, Harry Belafonte, Steely Dan, Beetles – I mean Beatles haha – stuff like that. I have a sort of weird taste in music sometimes, and we all know how musical taste is very subjective. I'll send you a couple mp3s, so look in your email shortly.

if I would imagine Horowitz with an electric guitar, I would get probably a true shock.
I´m just joking with you, of course, now seriously, thank you for your kind and encouraging comment. I´m happy to have inspired you to practise eventually on classical guitar.
I´m practising on some Chopin-Nocturnes at this time, too, and on the Scherzo nr. 3, c sharp minor (, of which is still a recording of myself on this site), because I´ll play some Chopin-pieces (and Mendelssohn and Bach) in a recital in this summer. So, have much success and I´ll listen to your recordings, if you´ll post them in AR.

Thanks, I will hopefully have a few recordings this fall, and I'll post them if I can. I am actually moderately advanced on classical guitar; if I would practice, I'm sure I could really improve. I may pick it up later today.

I listened to your a few of your piano vids as well, and I enjoyed them just as much. Especially your Bach. I'll check out the Scherzo, since I recall seeing it on your channel.

Horowitz with an electric guitar certainly would be interesting. FWIW, I tend towards jazzy stuff and country style chicken pickin' on electric, rather than the overdriven distorted kind of stuff.

Oh, I just had way too much time on my hands today and fooled around with my Adobe Photoshop program. I think this is funny too!

I have this program, too, so, I´ll try some experiments next time, too.
