I'm one step ahead of you. I already downloaded everything that's terribly important to me. Now I just need to go through and find other pieces that look intresting. I've already gotten some 300 or so pdfs downloaded.

Of course... I could be interpreting your comment the wrong way entirely... and that could lead to embarassing side effects.

Actually... I am fairly certian that a number of these scores are not in the public domain yet. Consider this: Rzewski isn't dead yet... so how could his works be public domain?

I think that if certian publication companies were to see it, that they might actually have legal grounds to have the site shut down.

Wait, now that website's requiring a username and password from me! What happened?? Could it be that too many people were using the site? Why do these great resources keep being taken away from us?

If anyone knows the username and password, please tell!

I hate to say it...

BUT I TOLD YOU SO! :P

I'm so glad I actually did the smart thing this time... Probably the first time in my life I can claim that.

So I'm guessing that nothing can be done about this. We just lost another great resource. Its as if the world doesn't want classical music to be here!

Well, maybe IMSLP will start back up again soon...

Hahaha - Chopinman, did you see the link that Alf (above you) posted? ISMLP is coming back. :D :D

Thanks, Alfonso.

:D :D :D

I had completely missed the fact that alf posted a link ( and was about a lambast him for useless posting  ).

Whoa, that is good news indeed. Thought I fear that once the site opens up it may well go down as thousands of people race to download its entire contents....

Save your cane for who decided to render gray by default the URL tag. :P
