Greetings
I was wondering if any of the North America members, knew of locations where solo recitals could be performed.
I am looking to add recitals to my current schedule. In addition, a composer from the University of Miami-Florida is currently writing a piece for me.So i am looking to come up with recitals for that too

Any suggestions are welcome

Thanks

Well, since you're from Texas, The Heymann Center in Lafayette, LA ain't too shabby. I saw Lang Lang perform there before he was really famous. Come on over!

I think you can book the place if you've got the money. They put on all sorts of shows there, from local arts and crafts to international stars. If I were you, I'd just ask them. I could be way off base or not, I don't know.

I don't have the finances for that.

The cost to book The Heymann Center for a non-profit event is $1,600US. Events for-profit cost $2,200US, pretty reasonable, I think. Coincidentally, the aunt of one of my piano students is one of the higher-ups.

That amount of money is out of my range as of now, especially since then you have advertising and such
Now if the aunt of your student would agree to make it free and help with advertisement .... lol
Thanks for the url

If you're ever interested in coming to a podunk university with a serious piano program, it would be great if you came to Cedarville University in Cedarville, Ohio.

Just a response from your teacher and he denied because to quote him, they bring in more established pianists. Which I can understand

Thank you for the email Mary Rae
