I meant to post this a few days ago, but got distracted by other things.


What you do all make of this? Personally, I'd rather stick to the notion that Chopin's visions stemmed from his romantic, ultra-sensitive nature, and tortured soul. Love all that gothic stuff!

Hi Monica,

I suppose the doctors' conclusion based on a process of elimination could be valid, but the only problem is that they never actually saw the patient. Maybe we can't rule temporal lobe epilepsy out, but it's hard to definitively rule it in as "the cause". Perhaps it's more properly a plausibility.
