Hello techneut,
Thanks for your comment. I would like to put my playing on to a CD album. I just followed different ideas from people I spoke to and also on the Internet. This latest result was a big turnabout of luck. Do you think it is worth a try (to put it on to a CD) with the quality of sound I am receiving on this latest sound file that you heard? I have been advised to use the relative .wav file when I burn the sound file on to a CD.
I will give all the details in another message i.e. size of room, where the piano is in the room, position of microphone, interface, type of microphone and the software, any rugs etc that I am using and where these are placed. This may help other people trying to do a similar thing.
I was hoping to be able to set my home recording gear up good enough so that I didn't have to travel to the city to pay a lot of money to do it all in a recording studio. I was almost giving up but not quite, as nothing was anywhere near satisfactory until this little bit of luck.
