Does anyone know of a place on line from which I could download a free copy of Ernest Lacuona's (sp.?) music? I've looked on a couple of download sites and he's not even listed as a composer.

Sorry. I knew it didn't look right. Replace the A with an E. Lecuona didn't die until 1963 so his music is probably not available as a free download. Did I answer my own question?

If you live in the US, there is a 50year copyright law. So yes, you did answer your own question.

Lecuona is just the thing for you John ! I bet you can almost smell that Cuban flavour out there in Miami :)
Probably not available for free but Edward B.Marks/Belwin Mills publishes a great deal of his piano music. I have some of these, it was a long time ago I bought them but I guess this should still be readily available, at least in the USA.

Thanks Chris. I'll give it a try. Since most of my friends are Cuban, I should know more Lecuona pieces.

Chris, I can often smell arroz con pollo, puerco asado, and ropa vieja when I go outside. Mmmmmmmmmm.........Sabroso!!
