What has happened over there? It keeps telling me that I need to have cookies enabled to download sheet music, but I do. I don't know why it isn't recognizing them. Also does anyone know if they're planning on updating anytime soon? Because I have seen the same works of music there for the past 3 years. If anybody knows someone who administrates(?) the site, then could you please ask them if they are going to update composers like Ravel and Rachmaninoff soon? Thanks.

P.S. I know that there is another topic that sort of asks the same thing, but it was dead.

What message is it *exactly* you get ? If it suggested to enable cookies in your browser, have you done that ? A cookie is a sort of token information file written by your browser on behalf of the website you are visiting. It is often used to store any personal information you may have supplied to the site, or to keep track of downloads and preferences. Sheetmusic archive uses a cookie to make sure you do not download too much. You can speficy in your browser how cookies must be handled (allow/confirm/deny), howexecly depends on your browser.

Hope that helps some.

the error on sheetmusicarchive:

You have selected Impromptu, Op.90, No.3 (another edition, which is complete).

Please note: due to download limitations in effect for the next few days, you will need to have cookies turned on in your browser to utilize the download service. Well there it is then. You have to enable cookies, at least for this particular site, to make it work. Many sites will not work properly if they can not write their cookie on your system. Go into the 'Internet options' of your browser, choose the 'Prvacy' tab, then 'Advanced', and make sure
this site is allowed to write a cookie.

I used to use the sheet music archive site quite a bit, but lately I've been using IMSLP for sheet music instead. No download limits, ads, etc. and it's open-source. As a rule, I'd say check IMSLP first, then SMA.

The music you're looking for can be found here.

That is a good site, IMSLP. I had not heard of it, thanks toki for letting us know. They don't seem to have as much as SMA but there are some real rarities here. Albeniz Sonatas ! I did not know they were even published 8).

Yeah, thanks for the help, but I think something is just wrong with the site. Maybe they actually are trying to update it. I think that IMSLP has more than SMA and is much better, because you can actually suggest songs to be put up, and within days it's up there!

The SMA does not work with our without cookies enabled. Not sure what they are doing and I am pretty sure that do not know either. They seem to have suddenly woke up from a long sleep when they had no competitors. Now they have several that are faster, have more sheet music and is totally free.
