Who is auto downloading 80,000 copies of a Brahms Intermezzo in a day? It ain't me, babe...
"Muzak" services? Airlines?
Quite possible. We think someone may be using it for round-the-clock background music, straight off the site, so it downloads time and time again. Then again, this does not explain the ridiculous numbers - a 4-minute piece could be loaded max. 360 times a day. Could be the stats program miscounting, I'll need to check (it has been behaving strangely lately).

What is an auto downloader and how does it work (ah am still a noob in many respects

A piece of software that automatically trawls the web, grabbing anything you have told it you want. In this case it's more likely to be something else.
