Hi,

I was wondering if somebody here could help me out with my piano.
I think it's a belgian piano, atleast that's what the name suggests, and I bought it in belgium.
The name/brand is "J.S. BACH bruxelles". I find nothing about it if I google it except loads of information about Bach himself. I bought it 3 years ago and didn't receive any information.
I think the serial number is 18856 (only number I found so far).
Would be really great if somebody knows something about it.
Thanks in advance.

Welcome to Piano Society!

Except, I just did a little searching and couldn't find anything about your piano, either. Have you looked in Larry Fine's book yet?

Yes, it has the most comprehensive list. Try looking for it in your library.

Hi piano15369,

First, what is that first picture? It looks to me like it is electronically inclined.

I would agree with you that the fact that it has "Bruxelles" would indicate Brussels. But the first picture has me totally confused.

Scott

Ooooh, I'd love to have a piano named J.S.Bach :D
Does it sound any good in Bach ? What about a recording ?

@scott what do you mean with electronically inclined? Its actually a picture from a side panel taken from above.
See the picture below (the computer drawing ), I marked the spot on the piano that represents the first picture.

@techneut, lol make me a good offer and it can be yours :p
You mean you want to hear the piano sound?

BTW I found an other logo on the piano and I think its says PIANOS RIESENBURGER (picture 1, sorry for bad quality), so I guess this should be the actual brand?
Has somebody heard of this brand before? (so I guess bach didn't build this piano lol )

Thanks for all the replies!
