This my intermezzo for piano played by my friend Massimiliano Motterle on the 19th centuryancient piano.
The piece is ispired by Schumann and Brahms.

No shit ! I'd never have guessed :)

Actually Schumann would have been proud of this, I think. Only the sequence between 1:22 and 1:28 I find a bit out of place, somehow. Maybe this is more Brahms than Schumann, but I'm not sure.

Hi Mr. Vezzoli,

It comes across clearly as romantic music, though I would associate i closer with the late romantics. Some of it reminds me of Liadov's Op. 11, No. 1 harmony-wise. It is well written and I enjoyed it. I particularly like your use of octaves and active left hand :)

I did not know these pieces, in fact there are similarities in melody.
