I have a full copy of Finale 2008... But there's a few things I can't do with it that I need for the type of music I compose. I can't make a customizable time signature, and I can't add in non-existent notes.

What I mean is... I haven't been able to adjust the sliders to make a 17/16 or a 7/8 signature, and by non-existent notes, I include things in my piano music such as floor-stomps, and sounds to make with the piano lid.

I heard about sibelius... but I've never seen it in action. Any ideas?

The 'V' shape is a foot-stomp, and the X's are taps on the lid. (Don't play this on a Bosendorfer... hahahaha)

btw: this is 2-measures of a brief sketch of some transitory material between two themes of a sonata... nothing special, and probably nothing I'll ever use...
