How to record at home ?

Postby Anonymous » Thu Mar 08, 2007 8:36 am

Hello everybody !

I was wondering what is the best way to record at home. Since I own a Yamaha piano with the "silent" system, I can link the piano to my computer, and record with Audacity... I seems to work, and furthermore they isn't any noise, but are they better methods (without spending too much money) ?

Many thanks !

P.S.: I'm French, please forgive me for possible errors :)

Unless you have good microphones, the headphone silent system will probably work best.

I agree, use the silent system + your computer. It will sound better than using a recorder and microphones.
Madam, what makes you think that I play with my hands?
