Recorded this last night, I like it but it seems strange somehow. Comments are welcome...

Chase, that sounds beautiful to me!
Especially I like the soft long ending.

Also, thank you for pointing to this (for me unknown) Scriabin Prelude.

I don't know this, either, but it's nice. Good job on dynamics and keeping a smooth left hand flow throughout.
The sound sounds fine to me.

I know this one well, as I dearly love this Op. 11 set. You play it most beautifully, the dynamics and tempi done to perfection. Even so, it could IMO do with a touch more languor and tenderness - probably achieved by just a little more rubato and perhaps some more pronounced phrasing. But it is very good as it is already.

Not sure what you find strange about it !? All I could spot was one inaudible LH note in (I think) bar 4, and what sounds like a missing note (and a little discomfort) in 2 of the 3 arpegggios near the end. Nothing to worry about though, just me pitnicking. I'll put this up, unless you tell me not to.

What I find strange is that it seems misshapen somehow; I tried not to be to extreme with the rubato, now it sounds dry and too straightforward. Yes, it could bend a little more, particularly the eighth note quintuplet figures in the LH. I think the inaudible note in bar 4 sounds ppppp, and the arppegios were what held me up with this piece for a long time, it's hard to get them without smearing the pedal. Here the pedaling was perfect, yes one of them is a little unfocused but it's time to move on to another one (recital in 67 days) Next are the G major Op. 11 #3 and the Left Hand Op.9 #1 in c# minor.

Maybe it sounds strange to me because I'm too close to it right now; I'll leave it alone for now, have a bunch of other stuff to work on anyway. Yes Chris, this can go up (we can always take it down).

Obviously one can always re-record a piece (if not too often otherwise we'll go crazy here). That is something else than taking a recording down isn't it.
