Here is my first attempt for the 'audition room' at piano society
It's the 9th of Scriabin's 24 preludes Op. 11 in E major. Let me know what you think!
It is well played but sounds extremely soft, artificial and void of dynamics, rather anodyne in fact. I would assume that even a digital is capable of a fuller sound with better contrasts than this. You'll need to work on this a bit. Scriabin is a man of passion and emotion and that does not quite come acoss here.
In bar 27 you play B natural instead of B sharp. It is nitpicking I know, but in such a short easy, and very well known piece (just about everybody plays this one), no mistakes or read errors should be allowed.
Lastly, we'll expect you to submit at least two more works that are a bit longer and more substantial than this. But I am sure you can do it.
