Two of Faure's late and dark Barcarolles recorded this afternoon. Op.104.2 is a redo of a recording I submitted recently in Monica's thread on the same piece.
I think (hope) these are passable.

Faure - Barcarolle No.7 in D minor, Op. 90 (4:04)
Faure - Barcarolle No. 10 in A minor, Op.104 No.2 (3:58)

The op 90 isn't dark at all. It's just really neat! I was practicing this one when I first started the other one too, but for some reason I forgot about it and never finished it. I remember liking those first couple chord transitions near the beginning a lot. And parts of the piece remind me of Liszt; specifically those high rolled chords spots. Anyway, it's a nice piece and you played it well. Nothing to nitpick.

op. 101 - sounds better than your first recording. It's steadier now and I like that you didn't slow down as much at the end. A little sloppy spot around 2:05-2:10, but I know that line is tricky. Also, I would prefer a heavier LH on the melody notes from 2:29 to 3:03, as well as a lighter RH.

Thanks. Yes I'm aware of these places, they're still not optimal. Think'I'll need to have yet another go at it. Should really have posted this in the WIP forum...
