Hey guys, just one of a few recordings I made recently. This is the Debussy étude 'pour les cinq doigts' (for the five fingers). Hope you enjoy it.

Perfectly played!

On some places the accented notes sound a bit too hard to me regarding the mellow played arpeggios (the contrast too sharp), but that's only a matter of taste.

I am wondering that it's the same Debussy who composed those highly romantic Arabesques.

That's the start of some more recordings? Please!

Very good, even though a bit sharp and hard-nosed. Of course Debussy's acerbic wit is in evidence here, but it could be a bit more mellow and smiling. But you're fully up to the task technically. We would gladly put you up the site with this, if you provide some biographical details and perhaps a photo.

Just one question: You said you made this recording recently. In fact, as per the ID3 tag, it dates from april or july 2004. What gives ?

Thanks for all the good critism guys. Your are absolutely correct techneut. I recorded this piece twice. I posted the old recording by mistake. (same folder + me being stupid = wrong file) I do think this one's a little better anyways.

Thanks again for the input guys.
BTW, do you have to audition every file you would like to post?

Not nessarily. It's just the default procedure we have. Most people like to get some feedback on their work. But it's the Piano Society music board (me and Robert) who decide.

Alternatively you can mail your recordings to me at cbreemer@hotmail.com, as long as it is not too much in one go (mailbox size is limited). If you want this one up the site, please provide me some input for a bio page.
