Hi from Czech Republic!
I made a jazz version of this famous etude. The video is from my graduation concert at conservatory. I will appreciate any feedback:)

Brilliant and very funny ! I'm a bit disappointed you did not throw in some stride and boogie-woogie.
Not sure Frederic would have approved... but what the heck, this is good clean fun.

This is a wonderfully clever and entertaining novelty arrangement. Thanks for sharing it with us!

The key to a good arrangement is creativity and the element surprise over the original. Your performance has both qualities. Very entertaining! I can tell that you're well liked and must be the funny one in your class - that's awesome! Great performance... Good Luck!!

Mr. Supak,

Chopin would roll over in his grave...

 ...I'm crack myself up...

All kidding aside, I think this is a really creative take on a famous piece. Some might call what you did sacrilege, but I'm not one of them. I think the cheers and the applause at the end are well earned.

I wonder if you learned the original and then you created this version? I imagine you have as the part of this arrangement that do nothing to alter the original (the beginning for example) capture the allegro con fuoco sentiment of the piece that makes it the most fiery spirited Chopin pieces that he penned.

Enjoyed this,

Riley

now you need only record it without the audience disruptions in a dry space and submit it here, assuming that is your next step ?

That is great stuff and you certainly have the skill to pull it off. Your arrangement shows your respect for the original. To be honest, it sounds to me as if you and Chopin are fully in on "joke".

Thanx for posting this.

Kapush, this is magnificent ! You have succeeded in making fun from serious music, but without lack of respect, and still sticking to a beautiful pianism (while in jazz many pianists have a loose technique). Did you write your arrangement, or is it an improvisation -which means that you wouldn't be able to replay the same rendition ? If it is improvised, we really need your input in the Improvisation section !

Kapush,
You are very talented. Your arrangement was insightful, artistic, imaginative and stylish. It evoked for me some of the great Victor Borge and some of P.D.Q. Bach. Thank you. I for one would purchase this arrangment. Good luck and best wishes.

Hell no. You can take the p*ss with almost anything, as long as you do it in good style.

Revolutionary indeed! Wonderfully played, tremendously inventive, I would have loved to see this in person. Thank you for sharing.

Compliments on this brilliant arrangement. Although you can't call the original boring, it's really interesting to hear it in a different form.
