Another nice session. I've never heard these before, but I'm going to go buy this music now, as they are beautiful little pieces.

No point in gilding the lily with Sibelius - he produced a lot of incredibly boring piano trifles. Apparently it paid the bills, if little else. But some of his cycles like this and the Op.75 set rise way above that level, and are true gems in the best Scandinavian tradition of nostalgic, song-inspired character pieces.

The Kyylikki (spelling... ?) are also good, and next on my Sibelius list. Glenn Gould used to play these - of all people.

I agree techneut, Sibelius has composed a lotta boring pieces. Its interesting u attempted to play some of them. Nice.
I wonder why he called(or may be the publisher) those pieces like landscape or winter or summer etc. I could never listen to these pieces and imagine the same feeling aroused. I would rather the composer would leave me to imagine and feel these piece in my own way. But anway nice attempt again.
