If you ever do become an organist, please play a lot of low notes!
I love the sound of the bass notes, too. I've tried an organ once because my Dad had one once (not a big one, a small one he purchased from a Rabbi) but just hearing the sheer power of the wind blowing through the pipes, playing the principal stop, I'm sure anybody who plays it can agree, there's nothing like it
Nice piece. Sounds familiar I must say I prefer a recording on a normal organ.
Why did you double the note values in bar 3 ?
Yes, I heard your version, after I record it. I like both your playing and the organ tone color much better than this finale VST plugin: Garritan's Virtual Organ. Now to answer your question this was my mistake. The first beat of the first measure in the left hand is also messed up. In the Edition Outremontaise the middle staff is treble, but on finale the middle staff comes default as bass. So I messed up, you hear and F but it should be a D and then in the third measure it should be the first F of the treble clef. I think besides that, it is, OK, but I hope you don't check in case I'm liable for more scrutiny
Also the tempo in my recording is at 70 MM, when the score directs 84. Andante Religioso
means slow right? Like trying not to sin and so being cautious=slow
