Who composed a piano work (and which is it?) that requires the pianist to play all the way around the keyboard (i.e., start with high notes and descend to low end of piano, then "Continue around under keyboard [ascending], alternating hands" only to appear at the high side again)?

Can't name the piece, but my guess is that the composer is Peter Schickele (P.D.Q. Bach).

Correct! That wasn't really hard. The piece is No. VIII Capriccio Espagnole for Charles III: "The Reign in Spain" from the Notebook for Betty-Sue Bach (S. 13 going on 14) composed by P.D.Q. Bach. The movement also requires the pianist to:
Stand: Stomp foot & snap fingers
Grunt (Latin band grunt)
Moo [like a cow]
Snap fingers (in rhythm)
... gradually add some foot stomping
Clap hands (in rhythm)
:D

Oh, yeah. Didn't thing of looking at Betty-Sue's notebook. I actually own that book. But my mind is not what it used to be.

They say the mind is the second thing to go. I forgot the first one.
