A few quick thoughts...
I notice you have already played some Chopin, but I find his etudes very musical and impressive.
Rachmaninoff might have exactly what you're looking for. Many of his preludes are stunningly beautiful... and stunningly difficult, too. Same for his op. 16 Moments Musicaux and other shorter pieces.
Dohnanyi's Rhapsody in C is an off-the-beaten-path selection that you might like, too.
