I was born in 1980 in Braunschweig (Germany) and had piano lessons from the age of six. At the age of about 17 I decided to study piano more seriously, and so after I finished school and the german Zivildienst (which you have to do if you don't want to spend a year as a soldier) I started to study to be a music teacher in Munich. After two years, I wanted to study piano even more seriously, and so I went to Nuremberg to study piano. After I passed my exam in 2006 I returned to Munich to finish my studies as a music teacher. Now I am working at the Wilhelm-Hausenstein-Gymnasium in Munich as a teacher for music and philosophy.
My life-long-project ist the recording of the Beethoven piano sonatas. Some of these recordings you'll find on the pianosociety-site; all of them on my homepage. In case you want to help me finish the project, please buy these recordings wherever you like, the first collection of three sonatas has been digitally published in November 2015.
