of Bach's most popular organ works. The transcription recorded here is
by Franz Liszt.
The Toccata and Fugue in G minor is one of the most famous organ works of Bach. Even people mostly musically uninterested in music can refer to this composition and it has been used in several films, documentaries and TV-shows.
The Chromatic Fantasy and Fugue was composed in 1725 when Bach was Kapellmeister in Cöthen (along with the Brandenburg Concerti and the first book of the WTC).
