Monica Alianello lives near Chicago, Illinois and grew up in a musical family where every member plays at least two instruments, and her father was the high school choir director - Monica was his accompanist. She also accompanied her church choir and played flute in the band, jazz band, and orchestra.
Monica earned a business degree in college, but is currently a stay-at-home mom with an insatiable appetite for practicing piano. This hobby turned into another one, which is recording piano pieces once they can be played well. She's learned much about recording music and continues to practice and record as often as possible. In 2007 she became an administrator on Piano Society where she monitors members' recordings and helps maintain the website.
