Krzysztof Kicior
Krzysztof Kicior was born in Katowice, Poland but currently he lives in Warsaw.
He started to learn piano when he was 4 years old and gave his first performance at the age of 5.
Although he had good piano teachers, he haven't ever took lessons of composition.
His biggest achievement was third place in 11th National Competition For Young Instrumentalists, Bydgoszcz, 2006.
He started to compose seriously in August 2005. In one year time he wrote about 30 pieces, including his biggest works: piano concerto, string quintet and cycle of Visions réflexives.
His main inspirations were Chopin, Liszt, Grieg and Tchaikovsky, but also Rachmaninoff, Debussy, Prokofiev, Nyman and Ligeti.
