Debbie Hu
Debbie Hu was born and raised in Taiwan and moved to the United States to continue her piano performance studies. She completed her undergraduate degree at the University of Washington in Seattle, Washington studying piano with Neal O'Doan; she completed her Master of Music degree at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, N. Y. studying piano with Martin Canin; she continued post-graduate study at the University of Washington studying piano with Neal O'Doan. At the Banff Music Festival in Banff, Canada, she studied with Gyorgy Sebok, and at the Aspen Music Festival in Aspen, Colorado, she studied with Brooks Smith.
Her guest appearances with orchestra include the Taiwan, Seattle, Stony Brook, University of Washington, and Everett, Wa. Symphony Orchestras.
She currently teaches piano students in Seattle, Bellevue, and at her home in Yelm.
