Raul Simionescu
My name is Raul Christian Simionescu and I am currently living in
Ennepetal (Germany), studying Physics, Maths and Music at the
University in Wuppertal (Germany).
I was born on 15.11.1980 in Timisoara (Romania) and got my first piano lessons at the age of 7. Unfortunately I lost contact to my piano teacher after 1 1/2 years due to the Romanian revolution in 1989. When my family and I moved to Germany we could not afford a piano and I did not take lessons anymore. Finally in 1997 i saved enough money to buy an old piano and played a little for myself. Since autumn 2002 I am studying music at the university in Wuppertal after having passed the entrance exams, so I have been taking piano lessons again for 2 1/2 years. My piano teacher is Atanas Kareev. My favourite music comes from the romantic period.
