Andrew Sheffield made his debut as a soloist at age ten, and his concerto debut at age 16 with the Macon Symphony Orchestra in Georgia, his home state. His piano studies took him from Georgia to Cincinnati, where he studied at the College-Conservatory of Music with Frank Weinstock, and then to Kansas City, where he currently resides and studies with Robert Weirich. Andrew has performed extensively as both a soloist and a collaborator, having won scholarships and awards in both capacities. As a collaborator Andrew performed at the 2008 Kansas City Cello Clinic and the 2008 International Clarinet Society ClarinetFest. As a soloist he was selected as a winner of the St. Louis Artist Presentation Society auditions and will be featured on their 2009-2010 concert series.
