Ahmed Anzaldúa
Ahmed Anzaldúa was born in 1982 in Mexico City. He started playing the piano when he was 16 years old. He has had lessons with Zoltan Kocsis, Pierre-Laurent Aimard, Menahim Pressler, Ralph Gothoni, Emmanuel Krassovsky, Peter Frankl and Alexander Satz. He received first prize in the "Maria Clara Cullel Teixido" international piano competition in Costa Rica. When living in Madrid, Ahmed studied with Galina Eguiazarova, known best for her pupils Arcadi Volodos and Radu Lupu.
Currently, he is a teacher and accompanist at the Conservatory in Chihuahua, Mexico.
